How we can treat Seborrhea at home
Any confirmation of sebaceous activity begins in puberty and weakens at the age of 50. However, adults of any age can experience an unexpected case of seborrhea which, if not properly treated, can get worse and result in considerable hair loss. Therapeutic products aimed at treating seborrhea act on specific areas.
The treatment should act on 4 levels:
- Clean the cutaneous sebum.
- Remove the scales that are blocking the hair follicle.
- Follicular contraction.
- Hair loss.
Hair loss is what we as medical professionals call androgenetic alopecia, seborrheic alopecia and common baldness. It is caused by the gradual loss of hair and is a physiological characteristic in men and in many women, and generally shows up and develops in races that carry the gene responsible for baldness.
As baldness slowly appears, the first thing that the patient notices is an increase in hair loss, especially when combing or washing their hair. The loss of up to 25 hairs a day indicates a healthy scalp. Between 25 and 50 is considered normal; the loss of more than 50 hairs is considered excessive, and corrective measures should be taken.
This is also very indicative of the appearance of baldness, and the replacement of original hair, which is usually fully developed, by thinner and finer hair. This usually begins with men in their early 20s and with women in their mid 20s. |
